  • Process illegal, offensive, or prohibited content.
  • Attempt to bypass copyright protections on files you do not own (e.g., using "Unlock PDF" on stolen documents).
  • Overload our servers with automated scripts or "bot" traffic.

2. Intellectual Property & Copyright

Your Files: ToolMadam claims no ownership over the files you upload. You retain full copyright and ownership of your original and processed files.

Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You warrant that you have the necessary permissions to edit, convert, or unlock the files you process on our platform.

3. Service "As Is" Disclaimer

No Warranty: While we strive for 100% accuracy, file conversion is a complex technical process. ToolMadam does not guarantee that every conversion (e.g., PDF to Word) will be perfect in formatting or layout. Use these tools at your own discretion. We are not liable for any data loss or corruption resulting from the use of our tools.

4. Tool Limitations

To ensure fair usage for all visitors, we may impose limits on:

  • File Size: Maximum file upload size (typically 50MB-100MB depending on the tool).
  • Batch Processing: The number of files you can process simultaneously.
  • Retention: The duration merely for which download links remain valid (approx. 1-2 hours).

5. Third-Party Components

Our service may utilize open-source libraries (such as ImageMagick, Ghostscript, or Python libraries) to perform conversions. ToolMadam respects the licenses of these underlying technologies.

6. Changes to Service

ToolMadam reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any specific tool (e.g., "Split PDF") at any time without prior notice, though we will aim to provide a stable experience.
